Junior Golf

At Arrowsmith Golf and Country Club we understand the future of golf rests in the hands of our young golfers.  It is our goal to provide and maintain a golfing program for junior golfers to instill in these juniors an interest in the sport, to educate them in etiquette and rules, and to give to them a sense of belonging in a golf organization.  Dress code in effect.

Junior Membership Program: Learn & Play

Objectives:

– Introduce new golfers to the game
– Improve skills & knowledge for all junior members
– Encourage play

Format:

– 45 minute group lesson. Topics will include full swing, short game, etiquette, and playing strategy.

– Juniors will play from a pre-set yardage, based on pre-assessed level. They will have a report card to fill out following each session. These reports will serve as ongoing game assessments and help determine which yardage from which the juniors play, as well help instructors determine the skills each student needs to improve. Play will be facilitated by golf professional and assistants.
